Yoshinobu Kanemaru injures knee, off 11/5 NJPW Road to Power Struggle show

One-half of the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Yoshinobu Kanemaru suffered a knee injury and is off the 11/5 NJPW show.

One-half of the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Yoshinobu Kanemaru has been ruled out of the 11/5 NJPW Road to Power Struggle show as he has suffered a right knee injury. It’s noted on NJPW1972.com that Kanemaru is unable to compete on the show and changes have been made as of this news.

Here are the matches that were altered due to Kanemaru’s injury:

Kanemaru is currently on his fourth reign with the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. The Suzuki-gun faction that he’s a part of also holds the IWGP Tag Titles and the NEVER Openweight Championship which Minoru Suzuki has possession of. Suzuki is defending the NEVER Title against Shingo Takagi at Power Struggle on November 7th.
