All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear pay-per-view concluded with Jon Moxley retaining the AEW World Title by forcing Eddie Kingston to say ‘I Quit’ in their main event bout. AEW’s next pay-per-view is ‘Revolution’ and it’s set for February 27th.
The opening match of Full Gear saw Hangman Page versus Kenny Omega in the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament. Omega emerged victorious and he is now next in line to challenge Jon Moxley for the world title. Omega confronted Moxley after Moxley’s victory. It was one year ago at Full Gear that Moxley defeated Omega at Full Gear.
IMPACT Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Don Callis was on the call for Omega’s match against Hangman. He joined Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur at the desk and was recognized as an E.V.P. of IMPACT.

Cody dropped the TNT Championship to Darby Allin at Full Gear. Prior to the match, Cody was announced as “Cody Rhodes”. While hosting the pre-Full Gear media call, Rhodes stated that although he is now able to use the “Rhodes” name seeing as how WWE dropped their application to trademark it, he was not going to use it. Mike Chioda was the official for Darby and Cody’s TNT Title match.
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander was backstage at Full Gear along with his significant other Big Swole.
MJF defeated Chris Jericho in the second-to-last match on the card. With that victory, MJF is now in The Inner Circle.
Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara’s ‘Elite Deletion’ cinematic match aired during Full Gear. The likes of Santana, Ortiz, Isiah Kassidy, Marq Quen, Reby Hardy, Senor Benjamin, Shane “Hurricane” Helms and Gangrel were all featured in the match.

The Full Gear red carpet special along with the BUY IN are available to watch on the All Elite Wrestling YouTube channel. During the BUY IN, Serena Deeb successfully defended the NWA Women’s World Championship against Allysin Kay. Following her win, Deeb was confronted by Thunder Rosa who lost the title to Deeb on the United Wrestling Network’s ‘Prime Time Live’ show.
Nyla Rose was unsuccessful in recapturing the AEW Women’s World Title from Hikaru Shida. After falling in defeat, Vickie Guerrero voiced her disappointment with Rose’s performance and slapped Rose.
AEW announced several matches for Wednesday’s Dynamite including Tay Conti (w/ Anna Jay) versus Red Velvet (w/ Brandi Rhodes). Also, QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes’ tag match against The Butcher and The Blade has been converted into a ‘Bunkhouse Match’. Previously announced for Dynamite is a rematch between Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix.
