During Friday Night SmackDown, Chelsea Green was introduced and put into a fatal four-way match that resulted in an unfortunate injury.

Green appeared on-screen and was added to a three-way match involving Natalya, Liv Morgan, and Tamina in a qualifying match for the Survivor Series.

Partway through the match, Green was dropkicked into the barricade by Liv Morgan and never returned to the match. This led to Morgan and Natalya working most of the remainder until Tamina returned and was pinned by Morgan.

We were told at POST Wrestling that the finish was not what was originally planned and led to everything changing on the fly.

Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select was the first to report the performer sustained a broken wrist, which WWE has since confirmed.

During the Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Match for the opportunity to qualify for the SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series team on Friday evening, Chelsea Green suffered a broken left wrist.

Chelsea was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Fightful added that Green was supposed to win the match, which we can confirm.

Green posted an update on Instagram on Friday night and we wish her a speedy recovery from this setback:
