Duane “Gillberg” Gill suffers a heart attack

Duane Gill, also known as "Gillberg" suffered a heart attack recently and James Ellsworth took to Twitter to share the news.

Duane Gill, known in the sport of pro wrestling as “Gillberg” suffered a heart attack recently. James Ellsworth, who worked closely with Duane over the past several years took to social media and shared the news of Duane’s heart attack on behalf of Duane’s family. Ellsworth stated that Gill is in the ICU and is said to be recovering well.

Gillberg is 59-years old and he last wrestled in February of this year for an Arizona independent promotion. Duane worked with James Ellsworth on night one of that show and over the past several years, the two have worked one another at independent events and even went on to capture the ACW Tag Team Championships together.

Duane Gill is well known for his parody appearances on WWE/F programming of WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg. In 2017, Duane was brought back to WWE to add to the storyline between Goldberg and then-Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

Gill was last active on social media earlier this month and was recently recording Cameo videos for those who wanted a message from him.
