Ring of Honor is several weeks out from their Final Battle pay-per-view on December 18th. The headlining match for the show has been announced as the ROH World Championship will be on the line. The current champion RUSH is scheduled to defend against Brody King.

The forthcoming bout will be RUSH’s first in Ring of Honor since the COVID-19 pandemic began. RUSH is a resident of Mexico and he last wrestled in ROH in February at their ‘Gateway to Honor’ show where he successfully captured the title after defeating Mark Haskins and the then-champion PCO in a three-way. RUSH is in his second reign as world champion.

Brody King earned his shot at the world title by defeating former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle last month and pinning Shane Taylor on the most recent episode of ROH’s weekly program.

As of this writing, here’s the updated lineup for ROH Final Battle:

* EC3 vs. Jay Briscoe
* ROH World Championship: RUSH (c) vs. Brody King
