This week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV was built around the appearance of AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. Omega and IMPACT Co-Executive Vice President Don Callis were the focus of a sit-down interview with Josh Matthews. AEW President Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone appeared on the show as well. IMPACT Wrestling made the announcement that on 12/15, Omega and Callis will be back on the show.

Following this week’s IMPACT, Omega and Callis were on AEW Dynamite. They arrived to Daily’s Place in a helicopter. Omega is back to doing his signature ‘Goodnight bang’ sign off that he stopped doing at the 2019 Fight For The Fallen event.
IMPACT touted the total viewership for their 12/8 show across all platforms and they accumulated more than 750,000 views. Ratings-wise, IMPACT drew 220,000 viewers and did an 0.8 in the 18-49 demographic for this week’s show.
Prior to Omega’s recent appearance on IMPACT, a segment was shot with IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann during which he was not allowed to enter the area that Omega had “blocked off” for himself.
