Next week’s Friday Night SmackDown which is the final WWE program before the TLC pay-per-view will air live on FS1 due to the Pac-12 Championship game being scheduled for 12/18.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is scheduled to defend her title against Carmella at the TLC pay-per-view. Ahead of their title match at TLC, Carmella challenged Banks for the title on tonight’s SmackDown. The match resulted in a disqualification after Banks continued to attack Carmella after the referee’s five count. Banks had Carmella locked in the “Banks Statement” but Carmella’s “assistant” pulled Banks out of the ring. Post-match, Carmella broke a wine bottle over Banks’ back.

Mario Lopez made a cameo appearance to promote Banks versus Carmella. Elsewhere during the show, an interview segment was conducted with King Corbin. Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler who are now aligned with Corbin are being referred to as ‘Knights of the Lone Wolf’.
While SmackDown was on commercial break, it was announced that on next week’s RAW, a new episode of Firefly Fun House will air ahead of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt’s match against Randy Orton at TLC.
SmackDown Tag Team Champion Montez Ford went one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler picked up the win over Ford which earned Ziggler and Robert Roode a SmackDown Tag Team Title match against The Street Profits next week. Also, during Ziggler and Ford’s match, there were blue solo cops catapulted into the ring.
