All Japan Pro Wrestling ran a card in Nagoya on Saturday featuring a new AJPW junior heavyweight champion crowned in the main event.

CIMA is the new junior heavyweight champion after he defeated Koji Iwamoto in the main event of Saturday’s card.

It is CIMA’s first All Japan championship and ends the reign of Iwamoto that began last July. This was Iwamoto’s third reign with the championship after previously winning the title twice in 2018.

The 43-year old CIMA is the president of OWE and had been appearing for AEW until the pandemic began last March.

The card also featured All-Asia tag champion Zeus & Izanagi retain the title defeating Shigehiro Irie & UTAMARO.
