AEW Dynamite notes: Paul Wight debuts on 3/3, Elevation premiere date

Paul Wight is making his AEW Dynamite debut next week, the Elevation show gets a premiere date, Nyla Rose & Lance Archer advance.

Longtime WWE talent Paul Wight (The Big Show) signed with All Elite Wrestling and his signing was made public today. Wight signed on as an in-ring talent but he’ll also be on commentary for AEW’s new weekly Elevation show that premieres on March 15th on the AEW YouTube channel. Wight will be calling the action alongside Tony Schiavone. Wight is making is Dynamite debut on 3/3.

Nyla Rose bested Britt Baker on tonight’s Dynamite to move on in the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator tournament. In the semifinals, Nyla will either meet Riho or Thunder Rosa.

Lance Archer defeated Fenix in the main event to secure his spot in the Face Of The Revolution Ladder match at Revolution. Archer joins Cody Rhodes, Pentagon Jr. and Scorpio Sky. The winner of the Battle Royale gets a shot at the TNT Championship.

Announced for the 3/3 edition of Dynamite is Chris Jericho and MJF hosting a Revolution press conference and they’ll be speaking to members of the wrestling media. Dark Order (John Silver, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex Reynolds & 5 (Alan Angels) are teaming up to take on Matt Hardy, Jack Evans, Angelico and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen). 10 (Preston Vance) of Dark Order will be in action as well when he faces Max Caster for a spot in the Face Of The Revolution Ladder match. Headlining next week’s Dynamite is Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill versus Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.

TNT Champion Darby Allin glided down to the ring from the rafters on Dynamite to help Sting take out Brian Cage and Ricky Starks. Sting gave Cage the Scorpion Death Drop.
