It was made official on last week’s episode of SmackDown that Daniel Bryan would be challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Fastlane on 3/21. Bryan defeated Jey Uso in a Steel Cage match to secure the opportunity. On the 3/12 edition of SmackDown on FOX, Bryan will meet Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the ring for a contract signing ahead of their title match.

SmackDown will also feature the return of The KO Show and guest appearing is 2021 women’s Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Belair is going to be facing Banks at WrestleMania 37 for the title.

On top of those announcements, current Intercontinental Champion Big E is making his return after being taken out by Apollo Crews several weeks ago. Crews put Big E out of action by throwing a ring step directly at E while he was on the outside.

John Pollock and Wai Ting will be live for POST Wrestling patrons following tomorrow’s SmackDown. The latest episode of Rewind-A-SmackDown can be heard at this link.
