Chris Adonis defeats Trevor Murdoch for NWA National Heavyweight Title

Trevor Murdoch's six month reign as NWA National Heavyweight Champion was ended by Chris Adonis

Closing out the 3/30 edition of NWA Powerrr on FITE TV was an NWA National Heavyweight Championship match. Trevor Murdoch unsuccessfully defended his title against Chris Adonis.

Murdoch went into the match with a neck brace after being attacked earlier in the show by Adonis. Prior to the attack, Murdoch confronted NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Murdoch first captured the title back in September of 2020 when he defeated Aron Stevens and Murdoch’s six-month reign as champion was ended by Chris Adonis.

At NWA’s Back for the Attack pay-per-view, Murdoch defeated Adonis to retain the National Heavyweight Title.

Scheduled for next week’s NWA Powerrr is World Television Champion Pope versus Fred Rosser.
