SHO & YOH capture IWGP Junior Tag Titles at NJPW Sakura Genesis

For the fifth time as a duo, SHO and YOH of Roppongi 3K have won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships

For the fifth time during their tenure as a duo, SHO and YOH of Roppongi 3K have captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

Their win occurred at NJPW’s Sakura Genesis event where they took on the then-champions, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion El Desperado. In March, YOH made his return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling after being on the shelf since the Summer of 2020 with a torn ACL. Upon his return, he immediately threw he and SHO’s names onto the challengers list for the Junior Tag Team Titles.

POST Wrestling will have a report up on the site of NJPW Sakura Genesis so keep an eye on the home page for that report.
