The main event of Game Changer Wrestling’s Spring Break show featured Nick Gage challenging Rickey Shane Page for the GCW World Championship in a deathmatch. Shane Page first won the GCW World Title back in December of 2019 at the ‘Long. Live. GCW.’ show in Nashville.
Shane Page’s 400-plus day reign as champion was ended by Gage at Spring Break and making the three count for Gage was GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale. As Gage was celebrating his victory, he was confronted by former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley who headlined Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport show on Thursday night.
Moxley and Gage stared each other down and began brawling. Moxley then hit a DDT onto Gage and followed that up with the ‘Death Rider’. It was later stated by Gage that he and Moxley are going to go one-on-one in a death match.
