WWE NXT notes: Ripley & Belair appear, Roderick Strong ‘done’, Sarray’s debut

The NXT, Raw and SmackDown Women's Champions shared the ring, Sarray's debut is set and Roderick Strong 'done' with NXT

NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez celebrated her title victory on NXT’s debut on Tuesday nights. She was confronted by Franky Monet (Taya Valkyrie) and after their segment, Raquel was met in the ring by Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. A picture of the three from when they were in NXT together was put up on the screen behind them as they raised their titles.

Roderick Strong alongside Marina Shafir had a meeting with NXT GM William Regal. Strong handed Regal a folder and stated that he’s ‘done’. Regal thanked Strong for his time in NXT and said he is always welcome back.

Former Sendai Girls World Champion Sarray is debuting for NXT on the 4/20 show. She was shown in the crowd at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Coming off of his win over Adam Cole in their Unsanctioned match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night two, Kyle O’Reilly is appearing on next week’s NXT. Footage was shown during the show of Cole shouting at O’Reilly as they were both being stretchered into a hospital following their match.

Imperium (Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner) ambushed Killian Dain after he and Drake Maverick lost an NXT Tag Title match to MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee). Imperium stood over Dain as he was laid out.

MSK and Raquel Gonzalez were called out for their respective championships on tonight’s show. Raquel was confronted by Franky Monet on top of being called out by Mercedes Martinez. MSK was made aware that Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher are coming after their titles.
