The Miz and Damian Priest competed in a Lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash. The pay-per-view was sponsored by the ‘Army of the Dead’ film which stars multi-time world champion Dave Bautista. Zombies were used as the lumberjacks for Miz and Priest’s match. Priest scored the win and the zombies climbed on Miz until the feed transitioned to the next promotional package.
Also, Dave Bautista was the narrator for the intro to WrestleMania Backlash.

WWE’s next pay-per-view is Hell In A Cell and it is scheduled for June 20th.
In the main event, Roman Reigns choked out Cesaro to retain the Universal Championship. Post-match, Cesaro was beat down by Jey Uso and then that was followed up on by Seth Rollins who came face-to-face with Reigns before going after Cesaro.

On the Kickoff show, United States Champion Sheamus hosted an open challenge. Ricochet answered the challenge and was defeated by Sheamus. Ricochet made light of Sheamus post-match after he took the U.S. Champion’s hat and coat from him.
Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley retained in their respective Triple-Threat title matches on the show.
Bianca Belair scored a win over Bayley to hold onto the SmackDown Women’s Title. Belair used her braid to hold onto Bayley’s leg while the referee made the three count.
