Headlining the 5/25 NXT is Karrion Kross defending the NXT Championship against Finn Balor. Balor lost the title to Kross on night two of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Also scheduled for next week’s show is the in-ring debut of Franky Monet and a face-off between Ted DiBiase and Cameron Grimes. DiBiase appeared in-person on NXT and cost Grimes his match against Jake Atlas.
NXT General Manager William Regal stated during an interview with McKenzie Mitchell that he is going to be adding more talents to the women’s and cruiserweight divisions.
On the tag team front, next week, Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon are facing Dakota Kai and NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. The winners are next in line to face Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell for the tag titles. Raquel and Dakota had an interview segment on NXT and they were interrupted by Ever-Rise (Matt Martel & Chase Parker).

The current NXT Tag Team Champions MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) are defending their titles on 6/1 against Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza).
Bobby Fish returns to action next week for a singles match with Pete Dunne.
Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher took on Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza on NXT. Thatcher and Ciampa were ambushed by Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) who cost Ciampa and Thatcher the match.
