Dating back to the summer of 2020, New Japan Pro-Wrestling has presented events in Japan with fans in attendance. Their weekly STRONG program tapes out of Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California and it is an empty-building setting.
New Japan announced that on August 16th, fans will be welcomed into Thunder Studios for an NJPW STRONG taping.
Nine matches are planned to take place and there will be a limited number of tickets available. Masks are required throughout the evening.
It doesn't end with a Resurgence.

The likes of Jay White, STRONG Openweight Champion Tom Lawlor, Juice Robinson, Lio Rush, Shota Umino, Ren Narita, Fred Rosser, Karl Fredericks, Hikuleo and Clark Connors are being advertised.
Several days prior to the taping, NJPW is running the L.A. Memorial Coliseum on the 14th. That venue seats 5,000 people. It will be NJPW’s first event in the U.S. since 2019.
