In the main event of the 6/28 edition of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre defeated Riddle and AJ Styles in a Triple-Threat match to secure his spot in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. Riddle had Styles beat but Omos pulled Styles out of the ring before the referee made the final count. When Riddle turned around, he was met with a Claymore from Drew McIntyre. McIntyre now joins Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle and Big E in the men’s ladder match.
Originally, the three-way was supposed to feature McIntyre, Styles and Randy Orton. At the top of the show, it was announced that Orton was not able to compete but Riddle offered to compete for Orton. Riddle won a Battle Royal which got him a spot in the three way main event.
