Former members of The Kingdom, Matt Taven and Vincent came face-to-face at Ring of Honor’s Best in the World pay-per-view. Taven wanted Vincent to agree to a match that would have the stipulation that Taven would be leaving ROH after the match. Vincent did not agree because he wants to continue being involved in Taven’s career, so he proposed the idea of a Steel Cage match on August 21st on night two of Glory By Honor. If Vincent wins, he gets Taven’s ROH World Title opportunity.

After EC3 scored a win over Flip Gordon, EC3 extended his hand for a handshake three times. Gordon denied twice and on the third occasion, Gordon spit on EC3.

There were streaming issues throughout the night for HonorClub users. Ring of Honor issued an apology from their official Twitter page:

We apologize to some of our fans who are still experiencing login issues with Honor Club for #ROHBITW. An option would be to watch through the FITE app and we will correspondingly make good on any refunds and/or credits. Thank you once again for supporting ROH.

POST Wrestling will have an audio recap of Best in the World on the site via the Shot in the Dark podcast.
