Dashwood & Myers vs. Cardona & mystery partner set for IMPACT Slammiversary

Scott D'Amore stated that the mixed tag match at Slammiversary should be a "hot mess"

Brian Myers and Matt Cardona’s next chapter in their feud is a mixed tag match at Slammiversary.

Since arriving to IMPACT Wrestling, Matt Cardona has been the focus of Brian Myers and the two have been at odds for the duration of Cardona’s run in the company. Cardona and Jake Something came to the ring to confront Myers and Sam Beale on the 7/15 episode of IMPACT on AXS. As Cardona had Myers laid out in the corner, he was given a low blow from behind by Tenille Dashwood.

Earlier in the night, Myers approached an individual who was standing on the opposite side of a door and stated that said individual could take out Cardona. Following the in-ring segment, Scott D’Amore told Cardona that at Slammiversary on July 17th, he and a mystery partner will face Dashwood and Myers. D’Amore said the match will be a “hot mess”.

Cardona’s significant other is former Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green, who debuted for Ring of Honor last weekend at their Best in the World pay-per-view. Green appeared during the bracket reveal for the Women’s World Championship tournament. Due to a hand injury, Green was not be able to compete in the tourney.
