Vignettes to promote Eva Marie’s return to WWE began airing on Monday Night Raw in May. In June, she made her official on-screen debut alongside former NXT UK roster member Piper Niven, who is now known as ‘Doudrop’ on WWE television.

Since their arrival to Raw, there has been a back and forth game between Marie and Niven. In a tag match, Niven left Marie to fend for herself and she lost the match. The following week, Marie attempted to do the same but Niven was able to score the victory for their team. Tonight’s episode of Raw in Dallas, Texas will be Marie’s first time in front of fans at a WWE event since 2016.

She told Hollywood Life that she hopes the fans boo her out of the building on tonight’s show.

There is nothing like performing and walking into our upcoming tours that start July 16th with SmackDown out in Texas and Monday Night Raw in Dallas. I just moved there so I feel like it is a little bit of my hometown now, but to walk out there and embrace the fans… actually I hope they boo. I hope they boo me out of the building. Every movie and every show or book, you always need a good villain and I’m okay wearing that hat. Coming back I think the WWE Universe has no problem making me that villain either.

Also scheduled for tonight’s show is John Cena’s return to Raw. He appeared at the end of Money In The Bank and confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns. To hear POST Wrestling’s thoughts about Cena’s return, head over to this link.
