For the second time in his career, Lance Archer is IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion.

All Elite Wrestling wrapped up the second night of their Fyter Fest event[s] with a Texas Deathmatch for the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship. Lance Archer challenged Jon Moxley for the title.

Jon Moxley’s reign as IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion began at Wrestle Kingdom 14 by defeating Archer in a Texas Deathmatch and at Fyter Fest, he lost the title in a Texas Deathmatch.

The final sequence of the bout saw Moxley and Archer trying to get the advantage over the other while standing on the ring apron. Archer then chokeslammed Moxley through a barbed wire table. Moxley was not able to answer the referee’s ten count and Archer was crowned the champion.

Next week at Fight For The Fallen, Archer is going to defend the title against New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Hikuleo. Hikuleo was in the front row for the Fyter Fest show.
