Chris Jericho’s next ‘labour’ comes in the form of an old rival from WCW.
Headlining AEW Fight For The Fallen was a No Rules match between Chris Jericho and former GCW World Champion Nick Gage. Light tubes, a baseball bat and more weapons were used during the bout but it was Jericho coming out victorious after hitting the ‘Judas Effect’.
Jericho is now three ‘labours’ away from getting his match with MJF. Immediately following Jericho’s victory over Gage, MJF announced Jericho’s next challenge and his opponent will be former IWGP Junior Heavyweight and AAA Cruiserweight Champion Juventud Guerrera.
This upcoming bout will be Jericho and Guerrera’s eighth match with another, as they’ve wrestled seven times in WCW.
