The 8/2 episode of Monday Night Raw emanated from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. During the show, there were several times when the crowd broke out in “we want Wyatt” chants. Former two-time Universal Champion Bray Wyatt was released from the company over the weekend, with the reason for his release being cited as a ‘budget cut’ per F4WOnline.

NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Keith Lee had a rematch from last week’s show. This go-around, Lee defeated Kross with the ‘Spirit Bomb’. Kross is set to defend the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe at TakeOver 36 on August 22nd.
Illinois’ own Mustafa Ali was in action on Raw. He and Mansoor teamed up to face T-BAR and MACE. Mansoor took the pin after being chokeslammed by T-BAR. Post-match, Ali was double-chokeslammed by his former RETRIBUTION group-mates.

Damian Priest pinned John Morrison on two separate occasions on Raw. The first occurred during their singles match and the second was when Priest and Ricochet took on Morrison and United States Champion Sheamus.
Headlining the show was Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. versus Charlotte Flair in a No Holds Barred match. Nikki got her win back over Flair following a loss to Flair last week.
