Richards does see a future for himself in Major League Wrestling.

The first round of the 2021 MLW Open Draft saw former 5-time TNA World Tag Team Champion Davey Richards be selected. Richards made his MLW in-ring debut at the Battle Riot III tapings in Philadelphia and he competed in the Battle Riot match and had a singles bout against TJP.

Richards was a guest on Sunday Night’s Main Event and expressed that he does see a future for himself in MLW. He signed a one-year deal with the organization and has intentions on renegotiating once that deal comes to its end.

Yep, yep. I have signed with them [MLW] for a calendar year and then we’re gonna re-talk about things towards the end of that. But I mean yeah, I foresee myself being there for a while man. I really, really enjoy it.

Along with his MLW dates, Richards is making the rounds on the independent scene and has stopped through Warrior Wrestling, Violence x Suffering, Glory Pro and New Texas Pro Wrestling.
