MLW has announced that it will not be running its War Chamber event in Texas next month due to rising COVID cases in the state.

The promotion was scheduled to run the Nytex Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, Texas on September 11th but have moved the card to March 31, 2022.

From company CEO Court Bauer in their press release:

Unfortunately, due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and emerging lambda variant in Texas, we have come to the difficult but right decision to reschedule our September event in Texas. We don’t take postponing an event lightly, however, the health and well being of our fans, talent, staff, crew and the community remains paramount.

In the release, MLW stated that all tickets sold to the September show will be honored next March.

Earlier this month, Ring of Honor announced that they were moving its ‘Death Before Dishonor’ pay-per-view in September from Lakeland, Florida to Philadelphia due to the latest spike in COVID cases in the state of Florida.
