NJPW Strong has revealed the first set of matches for its tapings in Philadelphia next month at the 2300 Arena.
The promotion will host tapings on back-to-back nights on October 16th and 17th for future airing on New Japan World.
The first night will feature Minoru Suzuki facing Chris Dickinson. Suzuki arrived in the United States at the beginning of September and is set for a whirlwind tour, which began with a surprise appearance at AEW’s All Out event and a subsequent match with Jon Moxley on last week’s edition of Dynamite.
On the second night of the Philadelphia shows, Will Ospreay will take on Alex Zayne.
Zayne was released by WWE in August where he had wrestled under the name Ari Sterling. His 30-day no-compete recently expired and appeared on Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor card this past Sunday where he won the 16-man Honor Rumble match.
Prior to the shows in Philadelphia, NJPW Strong will run back-to-back nights in Garland, Texas on September 25th & 26th.
