VICTORY ROAD: Christian Cage retains, Josh Alexander using ‘Option C’

Steve Maclin vs. TJP vs. Petey Williams

Right as the bell rings, TJP and Petey both start attacking Maclin, but Maclin fights them off and throws Petey to the outside. Petey quickly comes back in and all three of them, start trading off quick pin attempts. Maclin ends up spilling to the outside where Petey hits him with a baseball dropkick and back body drops TJP onto him followed by a dive from Petey to them both on the outside. Maclin and TJP start fighting by the entrance where Maclin takes him out with a backbreaker. Back inside, Maclin whips Petey chest first as he bounces off and gets hit with a floater suplex for a two. Maclin keeps at it on Petey, but TJP runs in to break up the pin, but Maclin easily takes control of them both. TJP mounts a comeback with a big kick but gets knocked down the top rope by Maclin. Maclin then sets them both upside down in the tree of woe and hits the Crosshairs on them both but only gets a two on both of them. Petey comes back with a German suplex and a running knee strike knocking Maclin to the outside where he hits a springboard huracanrana. They go back inside, where Petey hits a code breaker, but TJP breaks up the pin. All three start going at it with TJP hitting a tornado DDT as all three men are down on the mat. As they get up, TJP and Petey double team Maclin in the corner with chops and kicks, but they then start fighting over who’s going to climb for the ten punches, before both sharing that opportunity. This alliance ends quickly as Petey knocks TJP out of the ring and puts a Sharpshooter on Maclin. TJP comes in and applies the Octopus Hold on Petey breaking up the Sharpshooter. TJP hits double boot washes and a Detonation Kick to Maclin, but Petey breaks it up before getting tossed back outside. TJP calls for the Mamba Splash, but Maclin moves, and Petey hits the Canadian Destroyer on TJP. Maclin quickly gets up, hits Mayhem For All on Petey, and pins TJP for the win.

Winner: Steve Maclin by pinfall at 10:19

Black Taurus vs. John Skyler vs. Jake Something vs. Laredo Kid vs. Trey Miguel

Right after Something gets knocked to the outside and met with a diving Skyler, but Something catches him before getting a diving Miguel. Taurus and Laredo go at it in the ring with Taurus ending with a power slam before ducking and dodging a running Miguel. Skyler pulls Miguel out and takes his turn trying to tame the Taurus. Something comes in and knocks them all down. Laredo and Something goes at it before Miguel comes in hits a monkey flip followed by a double stomp on Laredo. Skyler comes in and takes turns on Miguel and then Taurus. Something takes them out and then gets double superkicks from Laredo and Miguel before getting taken down by a Meteora/DDT combo. Something comes back and chokeslams Laredo on top of Miguel. As Something was trying to press slamming Laredo, he gets speared by Taurus. Taurus easily takes out both Laredo and Skyler, before Miguel comes back in and goes face to face before suggesting a double-time that Skyler blocks with his own spear coming back in. Laredo distracts Something on the outside as Miguel and Taurus both dive onto them. Back inside, Skyler and Laredo go at it ending with Laredo hitting a moonsault/belly-to-belly suplex off the top rope for the pin.

Winner: Laredo Kid by pinfall at 7:59

Tenille Dashwood (w/ Madison Rayne & Kaleb with a K) vs. Taylor Wilde (w/ Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering)

Tenille starts the match in control as the fans are heavily behind Taylor. Taylor comes back with a drop-down and a knee to the face for a one-count. They go back and forth running the ropes, as Taylor takes her down with a head scissors. As Taylor is about to charge, she gets held up by Kaleb on the outside who holds her foot and Tenille takes control. As Tenille distracts the referee, Madison starts choking Taylor on the ropes. Tenille starts holding Taylor down on the mat and clotheslines her down as Taylor tries to get up for a two count. Tenille continues to keep Taylor down with a full nelson, but Taylor ends up fighting back. Kaleb distracts the referee on the apron, as Madison is able to drag Taylor to the outside. The referee catches her and ends up booting all four people on the outside as they were scuffling. As Tenille is complaining she gets rolled up, Taylor kicks out and they exchange roll-ups. Tenille is able to trip Taylor into the corner and hit her low cross body for a two count. They start fighting on the apron and Tenille hits a neckbreaker on the ropes, followed by a Spotlight Kick attempt, but Taylor reverses it into a bridged suplex for the pin.

Winner: Taylor Wilde by pinfall at 9:18

The Gatekeepers

Gia Miller is backstage with Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan and asks what led to them agreeing to team up tonight. Sami said hell must have frozen over as they are working as a cohesive unit and says he’s never been the bad guy in all this before bringing up the baseball bat incident. Edwards said he doesn’t want to team with him, but he will because he needs to against Moose and W. Morrissey. Callihan says it’s for the Greater Good of IMPACT and tonight they will prove to the biggest dogs in the yard why they are the gatekeepers. Alisha comes in and tells her husband that she doesn’t trust Sami and asks to be ringside to which Eddie agrees to.

No Disqualification Match: Rohit Raju vs. Matt Cardona

Cardona runs out as Raju is making his entrance and attacks him from the back but quickly gets taken out by both Raju and Shera. They go inside and finally, the match starts as Raju is standing over Cardona and tells Shera to head to the back as he got this. Cardona quickly comes back, and they both spill out to the outside and starts fighting around the ring. Cardona takes control and starts beating Raju against the barricade before tossing him back inside. Raju stops him on the ropes and knocks Cardona back to the outside where Raju uses a chair on Cardona including putting his neck in between the chair and pushing him against the ring post. Raju throws Cardona back inside and throws in a couple of chairs inside as well. Raju places the chair on top of Cardona in the corner and delivers a cannonball onto them. Cardona places the chair between the turnbuckles and hits a slingshot on Raju making him go face first up into it. Cardona places Raju into the corner with a chair in front of him and delivers the Broski Boot but only gets a two count. Cardona grabs a trash can and hits a TKO on top of it for a two. Raju fights back and starts folding the chairs up and drops Cardona on top of them before going to the top and hitting a double stomp on top of Cardona. Raju starts hitting Cardona with chair shots, but Cardona hits a low blow and hits a missile dropkick while Raju had the chair followed by Radio Silence. Cardona goes for the pin, but Shera comes back and breaks it up but gets a Radio Silence of his own. Cardona goes back in and gets a Drive-By, but instead of going for the pin, he starts setting up chairs on top of Cardona. Chelsea Green runs out and kicks Raju who then gets another Radio Silence from Cardona for the pin.

Bullet Club (Chris Bey & HIKULEO) vs. FinJuice (Juice Robinson & David Finlay)

Juice and Bey start the match with Juice hitting a pair of body slams before tagging in Finlay. FinJuice continues to keep Bey in their corner working him over. Bey comes back by taking out the injured leg of Juice and stomping at it before tagging in HIKULEO. Now, HIKULEO keeps Juice in their corner as Bey comes in and keeps attacking his injured leg, rolling him up for a two count. Juice starts fighting back and jumps over to make the hot tag to Finlay. Finlay rushes and misses Bey in the corner, tries to jump off but gets caught by HIKULEO who hits a very quick power slam. Bullet Club now keeps Finlay in their corner as HIKULEO delivers big chops and a splash in the corner followed by a stalled suplex for a two count. Finlay comes back knocking HIKULEO to the outside and catches Bey for a slam as Juice gets the crowd behind Finlay to make the tag. Juice comes in and hits a dozen short clotheslines in the corner followed by a back body drop and a DDT for a two count. HIKULEO comes in but gets a double clothesline to the outside by FinJuice. HIKULEO catches a diving Finlay but then Juice joins him to take out HIKULEO. While the referee was distracted, Bey is able to hit Juice’s injured leg with a steel chair, prompting HIKULEO to hit a big splash and the T-Bomb for the pin.

Winners: Bullet Club (Chris Bey & HIKULEO) by pinfall at 10:46

Moose & W. Morrissey vs. Eddie Edwards & Sami Callihan (w/ Alisha)

All four men start brawling as the bell rings, but Morrissey and Moose quickly end up on the outside where they get diving Edwards & Callihan. Edwards and Morrissey end up the legal men but, Callihan and Edwards trade-off tags as they take turns chopping Morrissey in their corner, followed by Moose with chops. This wakes up Morrissey who hits a double chokeslam on Edwards and Callihan. Moose and Morrissey start double-teaming their opponents knocking them to the outside. Moose and Morrissey keep Edwards in their corner and choking him out on the ropes and pulling him by his hair and arms while the referee is distracted. The beat down on Edwards continues, but Edwards slips out from a suplex from Morrissey and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb as Moose and Callihan both get tagged in. Callihan starts stomping Moose in the corner, places him on the top rope, and hits a Death Valley Driver for the two-count. Moose then grabs Callihan off the top and hits a sit-out powerbomb for a two. Edwards comes in as he and Moose exchange forearm strikes, but Callihan comes in with the assist. Callihan grabs Morrisey from the top and hits a powerbomb as Moose runs out and hits a Superplex on Edwards. Callihan comes in as they hit a superkick/brainbuster combo on Moose for a two. Callihan calls for his piledriver, but Morrissey stops it with a big boot. Moose comes in with a Kendo stick, but Edwards ducks it and hits a piledriver. As Edwards is setting up for his finisher, Morrissey picks up Alisha and teases throwing her. Moose takes advantage and hits the Lights Out Spear causing Edwards to head outside. Morrissey continues going after Alisha and throws her inside where she’s trapped in between Moose and Morrissey. Morrissey picks up Alisha and hits her with a powerbomb. The referees try to help her, but Edwards goes and picks her up instead and tells Callihan he has to go. Callihan heads back inside and tries to fight off Morrissey and Moose by himself but runs in a big boot from Morrissey followed by a Lights Out Spear for the pin.

Winners: Moose & W. Morrissey by pinfall at 15:03

IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Decay (Rosemary & Havok) (c) vs. Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans

Steelz and Evans still come out with the titles they had held hostage, as Rosemary and Havok rush to the ring and start attacking their opponents before the bell rings. Tasha and Rosemary start the match as the belt make it official. Havok comes in and tells Evans she wants her as they get into each other’s faces and exchange strikes. Havok moves out of the corner and starts clubbing away at Evans before tagging in Rosemary. Rosemary comes through with a splash and tries to suplex Evans, but Evans reverses out. Rosemary comes back with the Upside Down but Tasha attacks Rosemary on the outside. Tasha and Evans continue to work on Rosemary keep her in their corner, but Rosemary is able to stop their momentum with a crossbody on Tasha. Evans and Havok both get tagged in as Havok hits a splash and a big boot in the corner, but Evans comes back with a boot of her own before tagging in Tasha who gets a one-count. All four women start fighting inside, with Evans clotheslining Rosemary to the outside just to get tossed out herself by Havok. Rosemary and Evans start fighting outside as Rosemary sprays her with green mist, back inside, Havok catches Tasha on the top rope and tosses her on top of Evans on the outside. Back inside, Havok hits the Tombstone on Tasha for the pin and the win.

Winners: Decay (Rosemary & Havok) by pinfall at 7:54, to retain

Look to the Future

We go to Ace Austin and Madman Fulton backstage as Austin says this match with Christian Cage seemed like an impossible dream match, but anything can happen just like Cage coming back after 7 years and becoming a World Champion once again. Austin calls Cage a legend that built the very foundation he stands on now, but how do you grow something that you’ve built, you look to the future. And when you look to the future, you look no further than Ace Austin. Ever since the first steps he had to jump through plenty of hoops. The path that he’s on is inevitable and it’s a matter of when, and we have arrived at that time and tonight Ace Austin becomes the youngest World Champion in IMPACT Wrestling history.

IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) (c) vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack

Doc Gallows and Willie Mack start the match as Mack quickly takes Gallows off his feet with a splash in the corner followed by ten punches in the corner. Swann comes in but Gallows takes control and tags in Anderson. Swann and Mack keep Anderson in their corner, but Anderson fights back with an eye rake to tag in Gallows. Swann & Mack double team and hit a double dropkick to knock down Gallows. Anderson and Swann take turns biting each other until Gallows comes in and hits a superkick for a two-count. Gallows kicks Swann to the outside when he gets attacked by Anderson. Now the Good Brothers keep Swann in their corner, taking turns. Gallows hits a big elbow drop for a two and then follows by hammer elbows. Anderson comes in and tries to stop Swann from making the hot tag, but Mack does get tagged in and goes to work on Anderson. Mack goes the Samoan Drop, but Anderson escapes, but Mack hits in on Gallows instead. Mack hits a pop-up forearm for a two-count. Anderson stops Mack on the top rope and hits a spine buster for a two-count. The Good Brothers go for the Magic Killer, but Swann stops it and hits a springboard cutter but quickly gets the Gun Stun from Anderson. Gallows stops Mack with a sidekick, but Swann takes Gallows to the outside, where Gallows powerbombs him on the apron. Anderson hits a Gun Stun on Mack, followed by the Magic Killer as Gallows gets the pin and the win.

Winners: The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) by pinfall at 11:27, to retain

IMPACT X Division Championship: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Chris Sabin

They go right to the mat with each trying to take the other down and Sabin comes up at the first try as he puts on the 9 with his hands as that would his reign with the victory. Sabin throws Alexander to the outside where he hits a kick and a dive. Alexander stops Sabin on the apron and hits a low crossbody knocking them both outside again. Sabin quickly jumps back inside and hits a crossbody off the ring to Alexander outside. Back inside, Sabin hits a DDT for a two and quickly applying a front face lock before turning it into a neckbreaker for a two count. Alexander fights back and grabs Sabin off the top rope right into an ankle lock that Sabin breaks out and goes to the outside. Alexander follows him and they start fighting by the apron. Back inside, Alexander keeps working on the back of Sabin and hits a gut wrench suplex followed by a vertical suplex for a two. Alexander goes for a suplex, but Sabin reverses it into a pin for a two. Alexander goes for a moonsault, but misses, Sabin hits a missile dropkick knocking Alexander to the outside where he hits a jumping neckbreaker and a rolling neckbreaker off the apron. Alexander goes his finisher, but Sabin tries to reverse it as Alexander just ends up dropping him on his knee. Sabin comes back with a jackknife pin for a two. Sabin puts on the crossface in the middle of the ring transitioning into a 2 count. Sabin starts controlling Alexander by his arm, but Alexander turns it in a German Suplex, as he tries for another, Sabin stops him. They keep going back with Suplex attempts until Sabin stops it and puts on a hammerlock. Alexander puts on another ankle that Sabin reverses for a pin attempt until Alexander puts it right back in. The ending came when Alexander’s headgear got kicked off, but he comes back with the C4 Spike on Sabin for the pin.

Winner: Josh Alexander by pinfall at 19:03, to retain

After the match, Alexander and Sabin shake hands, but Sabin then goes and whispers something in Alexander’s ear.

IMPACT World Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Ace Austin (w/ Madman Fulton)

Christian starts the match pushing Austin into the corner before they go and lock up, with each trying to take the other one down with Christian coming up with the upper hand. Christian keeps working on the arm of Austin, but Austin punches his way out before landing more punches, rolls under, and hits a kick. Christian catches Austin and hits a flapjack for a two count before being tossed to the outside. Christian dodges Austin’s dive and runs inside for a basement dropkick himself. They start fighting on the apron, but Christian gets distracted by Fulton as Austin takes him out with a kick and heads back inside. Austin blocks a jumping sunset flip and hits a kick for a two-count. Austin takes out a card and gives Christian a paper cut before working on his arm. They have a transition running the ropes and elbowing with Christian ending up on the outside. As Fulton is about to go after Christian, Brian Hebner catches it and ejects Fulton to the back as he gets the ‘nana nana, hey hey, goodbye’ treatment. Christian hits the tornado DDT and gets a two-count. Christian hits a jumping European uppercut and gets a two-count right after followed by 20 punches in the corner. They have a nice transition with Christian hitting an inverted DDT for a two count. Austin starts getting frustrated as he can’t pin Christian and gets his neck snapped on the ropes followed by Christian trying a Frog Splash, but Austin moves out the way. Austin goes for the Fold, but Christian stops it with a spear for a two count. As the referee is distracted in between them Austin rakes Christian’s eyes and Fulton attacks him. Austin comes back with a senton as Christian kicks out. Christian finishes Austin off with the Unprettier for the pin and the win.

Winner: Christian Cage by pinfall at 12:08, to retain

Option C

As Christian is celebrating his win, Josh Alexander makes his way to the ring. Alexander grabs a mic and says ‘Bound for Glory, Option C’ as they both hold their titles up.
