Another crop of talents released from WWE.
Eight talents were released from WWE, as first reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. Hit Row (Ashante Thee Adonis, Top Dolla & Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott), Drake Maverick, John Morrison, Tegan Nox, Jaxson Ryker and Shane Thorne were all released and they were told it was due to budget cuts.
Drake Maverick immediately put out a video to hype his return to the free agent market. He made a play on the video he put out on social media after being released in 2020.

The 42-year-old John Morrison was last in action on 11/15 and he lost to Veer Mahaan on Main Event. Morrison is exiting the company just several weeks after Taya Valkyrie, his significant other was released.
Tegan Nox was moved to the Raw brand as a part of the 2021 WWE Draft. She had been brought up to the main roster in 2020 alongside Shotzi.
