WWE Raw notes: Edge references CM Punk’s “less famous Miz” line, Maryse, Austin Theory

Edge references CM Punk's recent promo on Dynamite, Maryse and Miz return, Austin Theory hangs out with Vince McMahon, Morgan vs. Lynch

Edge made his first appearance for the Raw brand since being drafted as a part of the 2021 WWE Draft. He was interrupted by the returning Miz who was accompanied by Maryse. Miz wrapped up with Dancing With the Stars after being eliminated on the 11/1 episode. Edge referenced CM Punk and MJF’s segment on Dynamite during-which Punk called MJF a “less famous Miz”. Edge said Miz has people on other shows bringing his name up to get a cheap reaction. Edge added that Miz left his partner (John Morrison) high and dry to get fired.

On the 12/6 Raw in Memphis, Tennessee, Liv Morgan will challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. During their contract signing, Liv stated that Becky’s big WWE contract is the reason why her friends are no longer in the company.

Throughout the entire show, Austin Theory sat with Vince McMahon in McMahon’s office. He continuously told Theory to expect the unexpected. As the show came to a close, McMahon told Theory he could leave and when they got up, McMahon slapped him. In their first segment together, Vince told Austin that he’d kill him if he stole from him again.

Randy Orton and Riddle successfully defended their Raw Tag Team Titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. With that match, Orton obtained the record for the most matches ever on Raw.

The United States Title was on the line on 11/29 and the champion Damian Priest retained over Apollo Crews.
