Opening up the 12/3 episode of AEW Rampage was a TNT Championship match that saw the champion Sammy Guevara retain over Tony Nese.

There were several matches added to the Dynamite lineup from UBS Arena on 12/8. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) are returning to traditional tag team action for the first time since losing the AEW World Tag Titles to The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero M & Rey Fenix) at All Out. They’ll be taking on Rocky Romero and Chuck Taylor. In addition to that, Jamie Hayter is going one-on-one with Riho.

In the main event of Rampage, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) took on Penta El Zero M and PAC. Malakai Black interfered in the bout and sprayed PAC with ‘mist’ once again which led to an FTR victory.

Independent talent Janai Kai made her AEW in-ring debut against Jade Cargill. Cargill made quick work of Kai and post-match, there was a brawl between Cargill and Thunder Rosa as the two talents are set to meet in the semifinals of the TBS Championship tournament.
