Tony Khan teases new AEW signing, announces Jake Atlas match for 1/7 Rampage

AEW President Tony Khan shares that there's a new AEW signee that is coming soon and adds that Jake Atlas will be competing on Rampage

Tony Khan makes several announcements concerning All Elite Wrestling.

AEW Dynamite is going to be live from Newark, New Jersey on January 5th for the debut episode of Dynamite on TBS. The show is going to feature Jade Cargill versus Ruby Soho in the finals of the TBS Championship tournament along with Bryan Danielson challenging Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Title.

Tony Khan spoke to Z100’s Josh Martinez to promote the forthcoming show and made several announcements concerning AEW. Jake Atlas’ signing to AEW has been confirmed and on 1/5, an announcement will be made about who Atlas is facing on the January 7th Rampage on TNT.

When asked if there’s a dream signee he has his eyes on, Tony stated that there is a dream signee of his in North America that is coming to AEW soon.

There is [a dream signing], they are in North America and they’re coming and pretty soon and it’s gonna be awesome. I’m very excited.

Khan further spoke about the TBS Championship tournament final between Cargill and Soho. He said Cargill is having the most dominant television run of any North American talent since Bill Goldberg.

Last week, Jade Cargill, who’s been on this dominant run; Jade Cargill, probably the most dominant run, in my opinion, [of] any wrestler in North American [that] has been on television since Bill Goldberg 25 years ago. The most dominant run and Jade Cargill is a dominant wrestler.
