IMPACT on AXS notes: Gisele Shaw coming soon, Grace vs. Cardona, Bhupinder Singh

Gisele Shaw coming to IMPACT Wrestling, Matt Cardona challenging Jordynne Grace, Guerrillas of Destiny appear, Bhupinder Singh and more

‘The Quintessential Diva’ Gisele Shaw is ‘coming soon’ to IMPACT Wrestling. Shaw is a former RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion and is the reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion.

Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) made their IMPACT Wrestling debuts. They ambushed ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey and Jake Something. As Bailey was facing towards Tama and Tanga, Jay White came up behind him and applied a half nelson choke and then suplexed Bailey. On the 2/3 IMPACT on AXS, it’ll be Bullet Club taking on Bailey, Jake Something, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton in an eight-person tag match.

The ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is scheduled to have a rematch with Steve Maclin on 2/3. Their next go-around is non-title and it’s a traditional singles match. Gresham previously defeated Maclin on IMPACT TV in a Pure Rules match to retain the championship.

Jordynne Grace accepted Matt Cardona’s challenge for a Digital Media Championship match.

While the JONAH versus Johnny Swinger bout was taking place, the camera cut to the audience and American Top Team’s Dan Lambert was in attendance.

For the first time since 2019, Bhupinder Singh will compete on IMPACT TV. Bhupinder’s return was announced by Raj Singh. Stepping up to the challenge is John Skyler and he’ll be taking on Bhupinder next week.

Prior to IMPACT going live on AXS, Blake Christian went one-on-one with Laredo Kid on ‘Before The Impact.’
