Lesnar selects Reigns for WrestleMania 38.

The conclusion of the 2022 Royal Rumble event saw Brock Lesnar standing in the ring as the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match. Several matches prior to that bout, Lesnar lost the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley after Roman Reigns cost him the match.

Lesnar appeared on the 1/31 episode of Raw to make his WrestleMania decision and he stated that he will be challenging Reigns for the Universal Title. Brock also wanted to go one-on-one with Lashley so he and Roman’s match at WrestleMania can be a title versus title match.

That challenge was declined by MVP, but Adam Pearce made it official that Lesnar is now set for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match at WWE’s next Saudi Arabia event on February 19th.

Chamber qualifying matches are taking place on tonight’s Raw. AJ Styles is going one-on-one with Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens is scheduled to meet Austin Theory.
