Bill Goldberg returned to WWE programming on Friday to issue a challenge to Roman Reigns.
Friday’s episode from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma saw the former WWE and WCW champion emerge as the next contender of Reigns’ Universal championship after interrupting during the opening segment to issue the challenge for the Elimination Chamber event.
It was first reported by Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful that Goldberg was scheduled for Elimination Chamber with plans for him to challenge for the Universal title on the card.
Back in December, Goldberg appeared on The Pat McAfee and stated he had one match remaining on his existing WWE deal:

The Elimination Chamber event is scheduled for Saturday, February 19th from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It will be Goldberg’s first match since October of last year where he beat Bobby Lashley at the Crown Jewel event in the same country.
Reigns is scheduled to defend the Universal championship against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in April.
