Rousey discusses a myriad of topics during her livestream.

At the 2022 Royal Rumble event, Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE and won the women’s Royal Rumble and eliminated Charlotte Flair to do so. Next up on the marquee for Ronda is a SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania against the current champion Charlotte Flair.

Coming off of her first appearance on Friday Night SmackDown on 2/4, Rousey went live on Facebook for a gaming stream. She was asked about the trash talk she reads and hears from fans and said it’s difficult not take it personally.

It’s hard not to take it [trash talk] personally from the fans because I don’t go out there as — I mean I do go out there as a character but I am also — I am actually Ronda Rousey so I don’t play Ronda Rousey on television. So sometimes I take it personally from the fans, not so much from the wrestlers. The fans, I do.

Rousey gave birth to she and Travis Browne’s child in September. She explained that she did not sport her usual ring gear at the Rumble because she’s not confident enough to wear it yet.

She added that she’s working towards wearing that gear again, but says it’s hard being judged based off how she looked three years ago.

Well, I just had a baby four months ago and I didn’t really feel confident enough to don my regular wrestling gear yet but I’m working towards it… because you know, it’s hard when you’re coming back and being judged directly to how you looked three years ago.

The final segment of the most recent episode of SmackDown featured Ronda Rousey officially choosing Flair as her WrestleMania opponent. Rousey said there is a bit of pressure that comes with being in the last segment because she feels it is her responsibility to keep the TV ratings steady and not disappoint those who are watching.

It’s such pressure when I’m the last on the show because I feel like it’s my responsibility to retain the ratings and deliver, you know? You don’t want people to be disappointed.

During the women’s Royal Rumble, Rousey reunited with Shayna Baszler in the ring. She is hoping to team with Baszler and urged people to express online that they want to see the duo team up.

I wanna tag with Shayna [Baszler] so bad guys. Just make demands for it online, nonstop. They look at that sh*t.

Travis Browne was present for a handful of Rousey’s matches during her first go-around with WWE. Rousey thinks it would be cool if Browne were to join WWE, but feels that would require them to relocate to Florida so he could be closer to the Performance Center.

I think it’d be super cool [if Travis Browne wrestled for WWE] but it also seems like the common thing of they would want us to move to Florida and do the whole P.C. thing, unless you guys really start to demand it online. But — you know, life is busy here at Browsey Acres. We got a lot to do, and we got two boys out here. Can’t just be moving to Orlando.

As of this writing, along with Rousey versus Flair, the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is what’s scheduled for WrestleMania 38.
