Banks heaps praise onto Belair.
The on-screen rivalry between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair dates back to when Belair won the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble match and went on to main event night one of WrestleMania 37 with Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Title.
They were scheduled to have a rematch at SummerSlam, but that match did not come to fruition.
For episode three of Mark Andrews’ ‘My Love Letter to Wrestling’ podcast, he and his co-host welcomed Sasha Banks onto the show. Banks named Belair as a talent who she has been able to see progress at a high rate. She spoke highly of Belair’s “natural talent” and how quickly she was able to pick up the sport of pro wrestling.
Bianca [Belair has developed into a star].
That is crazy. To have our schedule and to still make gear and to be a wife and to be an athlete and to do so much, I’m like, ‘You are legit. Whatever the EST means to you, you are it’ and to have someone so talented to come in so fast and just kind of get it so well is very rare and to not have an independent background in wrestling, that is just so crazy to me. She’s just — that’s a natural talent.
