WrestleMania Backlash will be the name of WWE’s premium live event in May with additional details released.
The Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island has announced that WrestleMania Backlash will take place from the venue on Sunday, May 8th.
It will be WWE’s first premium live event after the two-day WrestleMania 38 and marks the second year in a row where they are going with the WrestleMania Backlash title.
When WWE released its 2022 schedule, it listed the date of May 8 but didn’t state what the event would be called.
The poster that the arena included featured both Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey alongside Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch.
Tickets are set to go on sale next Friday to the general public with a pre-sale on February 16 & 17.
