There were several announcements made for the 2/22 episode of NXT 2.0 on USA Network. One of those bouts is a singles match between Tommaso Ciampa and Dolph Ziggler. In addition to that match, Grayson Waller is going one-on-one with L.A. Knight. Next week’s NXT 2.0 will also feature the NXT TV debut of Nikkita Lyons.
In the main event of NXT Vengeance Day, Bron Breakker defeated Santos Escobar to retain the NXT Championship. During the match, while the official had his back turned, Dolph Ziggler made a run-in and superkicked Breakker. The champion kicked out of Escobar’s pin and Ziggler attempted to get involved again but Ciampa pulled him out of the ring.

Imperium (Gunther, Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) took to the ring and Aichner and Barthel put the 2022 men’s Dusty Classic winners Julius and Brutus Creed on notice. Gunther then stated that it’s time for Imperium to obtain more of their goals, but he was soon interrupted by Solo Sikoa.

Carmelo Hayes held onto to his North American Championship after besting Cameron Grimes. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) had their first-ever defense of the Women’s Tag Titles titles since winning the belts in October. They retained over Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta.
The opening match of Vengeance Day was Pete Dunne and Tony D’Angelo competing in a ‘Weaponized Steel Cage’ match and Dunne got the victory.
