Scheduled for the March 1st NXT 2.0 is a North American Championship match. Carmelo Hayes is set to defend his title against Pete Dunne. In addition to that match, Solo Sikoa and Gunther are going to clash next week as well.

The women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic got underway and the duo of Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray defeated Lash Legend and Amari Miller. In the semifinals of the tournament, Io and Kay Lee Ray are taking on Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. Catanzaro and Carter picked up a win over Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley.

After Nile and Paxley’s loss, Nile choked out her tag team partner and Roderick Strong encouraged Nile to do so.

Nikkita Lyons made her NXT TV debut and picked up a victory over Kayla Inlay.

There was a backstage segment involving Duke Hudson and Persia Pirotta. The two kissed and when Pirotta’s partner Indi Hartwell walked in, she walked away in a joking manner. Duke then told Indi that she used to enjoy when they kissed to which Hartwell responded that it was a long time ago. Dexter Lumis overheard their conversation.

The opening match on the 2/22 NXT was Grayson Waller versus L.A. Knight. Waller used the tights to secure the win but post-match, Knight took out both Waller and his bodyguard Sanga.
