Balor is the new United States Champion.
The headlining match of the 2/28 episode of Monday Night Raw saw Damian Priest put his United States Championship on the line against Finn Balor. It was Balor connecting with his ‘Shotgun Dropkick’ which was followed by a Coup de Grâce to secure himself the victory and the United States Title.
This is Balor’s first time winning the U.S. Title and this accolade joins his NXT, Universal and Intercontinental Title victories.

Damian Priest’s reign as U.S. Champion started at SummerSlam 2021 in August. Priest confronted Balor after the match and stated that Balor only won because the fans were behind him.
Priest added that he never received that type of support from the fans during his reign and went on to ambush Balor and gave him a ‘Razor’s Edge’ through the announce table.
