Carmelo is moving towards Stand & Deliver.
Carmelo Hayes’ reign as North American Champion continued after his successful title defense on the March 1st NXT 2.0. Carmelo retained over Pete Dunne after Dunne got distracted by Trick Williams.
After his win, Carmelo celebrated with Williams and then stated that at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2nd, he’ll be defending the North American Title in a Ladder match.
The North American Title was introduced to the NXT brand via a Ladder match. The first-ever North American Champion is current AEW talent Adam Cole and he won the belt at TakeOver: New Orleans in 2018.
Hayes is the 11th North American Champion. Fellow participants in the match have yet to named.
