WWE Raw experienced a small decline but maintained its position on top of the cable chart for Monday.

The March 7th edition of the program from Cleveland averaged 1,775,000 viewers and approximately 593,000 viewers (0.45) in the 18-49 demographic with data from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

While finishing first on cable, the show fell three percent in the 18-49 demo while viewership saw a minuscule rise from last week’s average of 1,753,000.

The show was hit hardest among males 18-34, which fell 25.5 percent from last week while women in the demo were up by two percent. It was the only notable swing among the key demos and partially offset by the 50+ demo growing from 0.89 to 0.92 this week in terms of overall viewership remaining steady.

Thirteen of the top twenty cable programs were news-related on Monday.

The show began with 1,910,000 viewers and 0.48 in the 18-49 demo for the opening hour of the program. Viewership was much stronger for the first hour than last week, which opened with 1,738,000 and would indicate that the audience was compelled by the four-segment match for the Raw tag titles that opened Monday’s episode.

The show fell to 1,839,000 viewers and 0.47 in the second hour, and down to 1,577,000 and 0.41 in the third hour, which built to the challenge issued by Kevin Owens to Steve Austin for WrestleMania. Excluding the recent episodes of Syfy, it was their lowest third-hour viewership since January 17th.

Throughout the episode, viewership dropped by 17 percent and the 18-49 audience dropped 15 percent. Females 18-49 dropped by 22 percent from the first hour to the third.

In Canada, the show did a great number with an average of 245,100 viewers and 102,800 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. It would be Raw’s highest number in Canada since August 23, 2021, two days after SummerSlam.
