Jon Moxley has issued a challenge to Hiroshi Tanahashi for Washington, D.C. next month.

After his main event match with Will Ospreay, Moxley spoke to the audience and put over Ospreay for stepping up and not running away, which is more than he can say for others in New Japan, and singled out Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Moxley stated he had been patient and tried to show respect for someone of Tanahashi’s stature but respect is “out the window” and told him to either sign the contract and fight next month, or Moxley will drag him to Washington by his “stupid” ponytail.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will present “Capital Collision” on Saturday, May 14th in Washington, D.C.

Prior to that event, Tanahashi will face Will Ospreay for the vacant IWGP United States Championship at Wrestling Dontaku on May 1st.

Eddie Kingston has also challenged Tomohiro Ishii for the event in Washington.
