A video package aired during the 5/17 episode of NXT 2.0 to promote 18-year-old Thea Hail. She was a part of WWE’s March 2022 Performance Center class. She stated that she’ll be graduating high school next week and will continue training while in college. Thea has wrestled four matches on NXT: Level Up.

The semifinals are locked in for the Women’s Breakout tournament. Lash Legend defeated Tatum Paxley and Roxanne Perez went on to defeat Kiana James to advance out of the first round. Below are the scheduled semifinal bouts:

- Nikkita Lyons vs. Fallon Henley
It is confirmed that at NXT In Your House, The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) are set to challenge Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elliot Prince) for the NXT Tag Titles. On 5/24, fellow Diamond Mine members Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp are taking on Prince and Wilson in a non-title match.
The Creeds had their rematch against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) on 5/17 and The Viking Raiders got the win. Roderick Strong got involved to help The Creeds, but he ended up making Julius lose focus.

- Bron Breakker vs. Duke Hudson
- Edris Enofe & Malik Blade vs. Channing Lorenzo & Troy Donovan
- Elektra Lopez vs. Alba Fyre
- Mandy Rose vs. Indi Hartwell
In the main event of the show, Santos Escobar was able to best Tony D’Angelo after punching him with brass knuckles.
Wes Lee and Nathan Frazer’s singles match was crashed by Von Wagner who took out both men. Wagner gorilla pressed Lee out of the ring into the announce desk. Post-match, Lee had a confrontation with Sanga and stated that he wants to prove that one does not have to be “ten feet tall” to find success in NXT.

A tag match opened the program that saw Solo Sikoa and North American Champion Cameron Grimes defeat Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Sikoa debuted a new entrance setup.
