Rousey wanted to have a run-in with Drew Gulak at WrestleMania Backlash.

At the WrestleMania Backlash event, Ronda Rousey defeated Charlotte Flair in an ‘I Quit’ match to become SmackDown Women’s Champion. Thus far, Rousey has had one successful title defense and that took place on the 5/13 SmackDown against Raquel Rodriguez.

Rousey went live on Facebook for her gaming stream and shared that she pitched to have a physical altercation with Drew Gulak at WrestleMania Backlash. Drew had been involved in the Rousey-Flair storyline on the lead up to the ‘I Quit’ match.

It’s funny, I pitched him [Drew Gulak] getting involved, getting thwacked… I pitched him getting involved for the ‘I Quit’ match [at WrestleMania Backlash]. Like running into him and thwacking [him].

Elsewhere during the stream, Rousey said she wishes she could wrestle Paige when asked who is her dream match.

I wish I could wrestle Paige. That’d be fun.

Rousey was not present on the 5/20 SmackDown. WWE’s next Premium Live Event is Hell in a Cell on June 5th and here’s the current match card for that event:

  • Hell in a Cell Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins
  • Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka
