Court Bauer breaks news concerning the Samoan Swat Team.
In Major League Wrestling, the Samoan Swat Team consists of Jacob Fatu, Juicy Finau and Lance Anoa’i. MLW CEO Court Bauer appeared on Busted Open Radio with Tommy Dreamer and Dave LaGreca and broke the news that he has signed Anoa’i to a deal.
In addition to that, former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu is now scheduled for Battle Riot IV on June 23rd in Queens, New York.

He is a former World Heavyweight Champion, he is the ‘Samoan Smashing Machine’, Jacob Fatu has officially entered the Battle Riot and I got some more news, double scoop for you guys. We’ve just signed Lance Anoa’i. Lance is the son of Samu, the cousin of The Rock, cousin of Roman Reigns and he’s a third generation wrestler, grandfather is Afa Anoa’i and he’s part of our new-era Samoan Swat Team with Fatu and big Juicy [Finau] and I think this is gonna be an exciting time. You’re gonna see the hottest faction — they debuted in Philly and they basically were the most in demand t-shirt, everyone wanted to see their match. I think we got something special with the new era S.S.T.
Fatu is joining Lince Dorado, Marshall Von Erich, Alex Kane, Killer Kross and MLW World Tag Team Champion Calvin Tankman in the 40-person Battle Riot match.
Anoa’i has competed for MLW multiple times in the past. He returned at the Kings of Colosseum show and teamed with Juice Finau to defeat Los Aztecas (Cinco & Uno).
