After Kenny King defeated Blake Christian to hold onto his spot in the X Division Title Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, the company announced that former AEW talent Jack Evans is joining the field. There is one spot left to be filled in the match that includes Evans, King, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, Trey Miguel and X Division Champion Ace Austin.

Prior to it being made official that Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, PCO, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven & Vincent) will be competing at Slammiversary, Edwards publicly expressed that the group should be on the show and he had an encounter with Shark Boy backstage. As Edwards had Shark Boy pressed up against a door, former 7-time NWA World Tag Tag Team Champion ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris appeared to confront Eddie.

Alisha Edwards scored a win over Renee Michelle on ‘Before the IMPACT’ and post-match, she was alerted by Masha Slamovich that she is next for her. Masha is undefeated in IMPACT and her most recent win was over Havok in quick fashion.

The following bouts were made official for next week’s IMPACT on AXS:

  • Josh Alexander vs. Joe Doering
  • Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin & Frankie Kazarian
