On AEW Dynamite, several matches were confirmed for Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view later this month.
It was confirmed that Samoa Joe will defend the ROH Television Championship against Jay Lethal on the show after weeks of challenges issued by Lethal.
Joe appeared at the conclusion of Supercard of Honor this past April and attacked Lethal to end the show standing alongside ROH champion Jonathan Gresham.
The pay-per-view will also see Wheeler Yuta defend the ROH Pure Championship against Daniel Garcia in a Pure Rules match. The two had a tremendous 60-minute draw last summer at the IWTV 100 event.
ROH tag champions FTR issued a challenge to The Briscoe Brothers for Death Before Dishonor, which would be a rematch of one of the year’s best matches from Supercard of Honor where FTR won the tag titles.
Tickets for Death Before Dishonor go on sale this Friday with the event set for Saturday, July 23rd at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
