At the 65, Masashi Aoyagi passed away.
On July 6th, 30-plus year veteran of the wrestling business, Masashi Aoyagi passed away. He was 65 years of age.
Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kotaro Suzuki, Mohammed Yone and the organization’s official English account reacted to his passing. Atsushi Onita’s FMW-E promotion also sent their condolences.
Our condolences for the loss of Masashi Aoyagi.
Onita wouldn't be who he is today without him.

The former karate fighter wrestled for @noah_ghc from 2000-2015 & last graced the ark in 2020. Aoyagi also mentored a number of NOAH wrestlers.

Throughout his career, Aoyagi has wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Japan and NOAH. His first match was against Atsushi Onita for FMW in 1989 and in the summer of 2021, he wrestled in his last sanctioned match in a six-man tag that involved Onita.
